Who is Sharnali?
I am a high spirited junior ready to take on new challenges all the time! I love playing volleyball with my friends and have joined the team at my school. I have been in the swim team at my school for 3 years now and recently started playing the clarinet. I absolutely love traveling and hope to go abroad one day for my studies. With a very open mind, I also love trying new foods from various cultures expanding my taste buds. I also volunteer at the local library and try to help out my community as much as possible, paving the way for me to meet new people and have new experiences. I also have my own clubs where I raise money for New York City animal shelters and autism; helping my community and giving back is a passion of mine.
Coding, politics, traveling, and photography are my top four interests because they each offer different ways to explore and impact the world. Coding lets me solve problems and create in a digital space, while politics keeps me engaged with issues shaping society. On the other hand, traveling allows me to experience new cultures and broaden my perspective. Furthermore, photography allows me to capture the most special moments between nature, family, and friends. It opens your eyes to the truth. Together, they fuel my curiosity and desire to learn.
